On the Podcast with Adam Mabry: Overcoming Tribal Instincts

Adam Mabry | 18 Sep 2020

Adam Mabry claims to be both a Calvinist AND a Charismatic Christian. But that's a contradiction in terms, surely? Maybe...maybe not, and perhaps that's the point.

Adam is the pastor of a church in Boston where the university students in his congregation are as numerous as the MAGA hat-wearing Trump supporters.

In this episode we talk to him about his new book Stop Taking Sides, which hones in on the increasing amount of raging tribalism we’re seeing within the Evangelical Community, and reveals how learning to hold truths in tension can save us from anxiety and outrage.
