Contained in the pages of this book are the stories of city lives. They are ordinary people on one level, high flyers on another, but all of them have something in common - their lives have been changed by an encounter with Jesus.
You'll be introduced to lives from the Premier League to Parliament, fashion to finance, music to the military, baking to business and more in this book.
Each story of faith has something different that may intrigue, surprise or shock you, but each will share with you how Jesus radically changed their life.

I bought this book for my own benefit, feeling in need of encouragement. It certainly supplied that, although it was much more evangelistic,(maybe a bit "preachy" in places) than I'd expected. A few testimonies from more ordinary people would have been good. Maybe we need a book of Country Lives, for those of us in rural areas. The title is uninspiring but the stories are exactly the opposite. I have lent it to a friend who has not been going to church for a few years and am praying for the Spirit to work in her through. these extraordinary stories.
This book is a compact collection of stories about how Christians live out their faith in the "now and not yet", while facing life's challenges and temptations in a post-modern world.
