“Excellent, fun and well thought out Children's Bible”

This is a really good children's bible. It is really fun, and thought through, both from a theology point of view, but also in terms of the many different methods (or more like media in the book) that the bible stories are told.
I think this would be an excellent bible for any 7-9 year old to have. It lends itself well to the type of book that they can read themselves, or dip in and out of (particularly with all the informative sidebars there are), alongside the actual bible that they might read with their parents.
The pictures are lovely, and I really like the way different social media, film scripts, emails, and even live streaming are employed to tell different stories in inventive ways. Also the inclusion of simple graphics, to tie bible story threads together, is helpful.
I particularly appreciate the inclusion of some of the Prophets and some Epistles in the bible story book. There is a reason why we teach alot more narrative when we are teaching children the bible,so I understand why they are often missed out, but it is great that there is at least an introduction for children reading to some of these genres in the bible.
I am certainly telling everyone to buy it for their children for Christmas.

“Quality inside and outside the classroom”

As well as providing a welcome distraction in lessons, where boys have asked, 'What's the blockbuster Bible, sir?' this is such a helpful book. For classes it's visual and pacey, for families it is readable and light. I would recommend highly, especially as an alternative/partner to children's Bibles like the Lion version. It communicates the themes of the Bible like grace and God's sovereignty as well as its main characters. Money well spent.
