I bought this bible as I wanted an alternative translation. My daily study bible is the NIV but I find it is helpful to have others for comparison, and I wanted an ESV to have alongside. This bible works well for what I wanted. It has a clear layout, good sized font, good paper quality.
I wouldn't personally recommend it as a main study bible because of what it doesn't have. There are no cross references, footnotes are limited to main alternative textual readings, it has no maps or concordance or notes. Neither does it have ribbons to mark your place.
But as a clearly presented, good quality alternative translation, then I'm finding it is working very well.
