“A book that helps to shape character”

I read this book (and Jim George's previous book A Boy's guide to making really good choices) at bedtime with my 12 year old son. It opened his eyes to biblical ways of looking at life. There were plenty of Bible verses to memorise and simple questions to think through what the verse is saying. The most useful thing about the book is probably the scenarios in a fictitious Boy's life that are easy to relate to. Reading it led to many helpful discussions about life at a crucial age - the transition between primary and secondary school. I'm grateful to Jim George for the warm, thought-provoking style he has written his books in. I'm looking forward to using his book about prayer now.
