Description

Many Christians are confused by the book of Revelation. And yet the message of the final book of the Bible is both clear and simple.

Despite everything that is going wrong with our world, God remains in control. And when we see history, our present, and our future from heaven's perspective, it will encourage us to trust God and remain faithful to the end.

These seven insightful studies will help ordinary Christians see how John's message is just as relevant and applicable to our churches and our lives today as it was 2000 years ago. Perfect for use in small group Bible studies.

Accompanying expository guide available to help you lead small groups.

“Highly recommended”

This is an excellent study on a very difficult book. Tim Chester begins by giving us a guide to all the symbols in Revelation, thus immediately removing the scariness of this book, which I am using for online bible study for our church .Tim states that in the New Testament we often have theology first and application second, but in Revelation it's the other way round.....setting the scene for the messages to the churches followed by the visions. We are encouraged to "put ourselves in the shoes" of the early Christians for whom this was first written, who were horrendously suffering at the hands of the Roman Empire . Tim does not become bogged down in detail, but encourages to stand back and see the big picture using our God-given imaginations. Highly recommended.
