This short Halloween tract introduces children to the greatest treat of all, God's own Son, Jesus.
A treat is a free gift - something we don't deserve.
This short Halloween tract introduces children to the greatest treat of all, God's own Son, Jesus. The tract is based on John 8 v 12, where Jesus tells us that He is 'the light of the world'.
It helps children to understand why Halloween isn't 'harmless fun', and that there's no need to be afraid because Jesus beat the devil.
How to give away a Halloween tract at the door:
1. Stock up on sweets, chocolates and tracts
2. Make sure you're at home on the 31st October
3. When children come trick or treating, simply hand them some sweets or chocolates along with a tract which 'explains a bit more about Halloween'
4. Pray!

Very balanced tract for age group message good easy to understand we gave a few out at the front door when children knocked and gave them a packet of sweets with them nice to have a puzzle as well
Think this tract is excellent. Ordered 25 and now ordering another 100 with the plan to go on the streets "treating" on Halloween night. The plan:- buy some gifts for kids, wrap them up with a few sweets, a trick or treat tract and the the "sorted" tract and hand them out on the streets.
This tract has a great message, written well. It's just a shame I didn't manage to give any out this year.
This is the first time Ive order from The Good Book Company. I was surprised to actually find items I could use for spreading the Gospel to others in such a fantastic way ... especially at halloween. I used the leaflets bought on the site and attached some sweets, which I left outside my door ... they all were taken and hope and pray just one person/child will have a seed planted ... Great website and will be ordering more items soon! Thank you -x-
I bought the Tract or Treat, the Why did Jesus come? and Why did Jesus die? They are brilliant booklets - and state clearly the facts in an easy to understand way. Good things for children to think about and even puzzles to do. They are well worth buying.
Each Halloween I make up around 50 trick or treat bags which include sweets, a tract, and leaflet information on our Churches activities. These are great for that. Thank you.
USED THIS LEAFLET AT OUR JAM AFTER SCHOOL CLUB AND THE CHILDREN WERE KEEN TO HAVE ONE, AS THEY ALL NOWADAYS SEE PUMPKINS EVERYWHERE AND ASSOCIATE THIS WITH HALLOWEEN. IT WAS GOOD TO HAVE A WAY OF COMMUNICATING THE GOSPEL MESSAGE TO THE CHILDREN
we decided to use the door knocking on Halloween as an opportunity to put the Christian point of view to the children who came. We gave sweets to start with and then handed out the tract. Most door knockers were youngsters accompanied by an adult, so the content was appropriate. It might be too young for teenagers who really need to know about these things, so another version for an older recipient would be welcome. Our previous response to the Trick or treat request has been NO THANK YOU but we think in our present Godless culture any opportunity to put the other side of things needs to be grasped. Do you have anything similar for carol Singers?
These tracts arrived in good time and had good content that presented the gospel in a way relevant to Halloween. I would recommend them.
They go for Halloween in a big way here in the Rep of Ireland - nearly everyone sees it as harmless fun - and for that reason I was looking for a Christian message that didn't feel the need to kick Halloween too much. While it's a good tract, I'm afraid I found it a bit too damning to use at our alternative 'white night' party at church. I ended up cutting off the top page and using only it. Call me a wimp but I really didn't think it would help to damn all the fun.
